Join us for a final wine party at Counter Culture Coffee!! <3 We’re wrapping up our Counter Culture era with an epic THEMED Spanish wine party. And, for something a little different, we’re hosting it on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON. That’s right, Boston, we’re throwing a DAY PARTY.
We’re rewinding it back to the 80’s, when the iconic Spanish pop band Mecano came onto the scene in Madrid. Spain was emerging from decades of dictatorship and people were free, experimenting with new sounds and social scenes and, most importantly, ready to party. The pop music of Mecano is perhaps most associated with the collective exuberance of the time. We’re channeling the energy of Mecano with an 80’s Spanish pop set by Knina Mixtapes, a lineup of Spanish wines + vermouth + sherry + cheese, charcuterie, gildas, conservas… you get it! Importantly, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE 80s attire.
When: Sunday May 3nd, 3p-7ish or whenever we get tired!
